Finally an official off day! It's been so long since b and I don't have to meet anyone on off days and enjoying ourselves with own time own target! Haha.

Went to have Pizza Hut at city square mall first thing!

This is my turkey bacon spaghetti and spicy drumlets. Drumlets is must have for me at Pizza Hut. Waiting for the boy's order. My plate of pasta is super disappointing. It's full of garlic, and I guessed the chef doesn't know how to cook and used only garlic? My whole plate is full of garlic and one thing I hate the most is GARLIC!

Headed down to wisma to collect mum's jewelry which is sent for cleaning and proceed to dhoby ghaut because b wants to go to hamley's (the new opened toy store around koi).

Shopped and played around and b was feeling thirsty. Passed by teddy&me!

This happens when everything is just so tempting. Initial plan was to get a cuppa drink? No regrets for the above because.... everything is just too good!

Saw this pretty porcelain catchall but it cost SGD42.90?!!?! Too ex for this little thing.

Headed down to bugis after I'm bored of dhoby ghaut. And of course, I just had to visit my favorite store, TCL!!

Bagged home a work dress from the W. Label by TCL and a lace top that I've been wanting to get since the launch but was afraid that it won't fit, so I dragged till now. Lucky there's still stock for it! But it's the last piece already.

Went back to city square mall after shopping at bugis.

Settled for Astons for dinner today. The queue was super long, we had to pack dinner home. Shopped at Charles and Keith for the sandals I'm looking for but there's no stock at csm outlet. Went to metro because there's a crazy 80% sale!!! Got myself some intimates and a home shorts and the boy for himself a pair of shoes.

Time to slack at home because there's work tomorrow!

Yesterday was supper at Kok Kee Wanton Mee at balestier. It's previously located at lavender food court but it's been moved. They have the best wanton mee in the world! I've never had such yummy wanton mee before. They never fail to have a long queue during midnight unless the noodles are out of stock!

This lady here is super friendly too.

Went to open the store this morning and headed home for mahjong session with b, mum and mee soh auntie (mum's friend). I lost a whooping $230?!!?! Wth. Lucky baby won $120 and cover half of my loss. :'(

Hello!! Realized I haven't been blogging, probably due to the very busy holidays that just passed! Love cny this year especially that it falls on thurs and Friday, which also means longer weekends! Yay!

Anyway, did I already say I made a new pair of spectacle a few days back? Have been wanting to make a pair but kept procrastinating and didn't really see the frame that I've been looking for that fits perfectly on me.

Passby observer optics after a movie date with the cousin and B. Decided to take a look and try on the frames since it's still pretty early and there's not much people. Don't really like it when it's crowded and I've to squeeze just to try the frames. Anyway, I took the one I spotted and try it. To my surprise, it fits me perfectly! At least up to my expectations? Was so happy and asked my cousin and B if it suits me and they too, can't agree more with me!

So my buying spectacle process this time goes like this:

Tadah, went to check the degree of my eyes coz my last updated degree was really a few year's back, since secondary school days? The optican is really very meticulous. Proceeded to have my eyes checked and good news is, my degrees dropped!! Didn't really expected that though. Thought mine would increase but yay, lucky it didn't.

And they have more variety inside if you didn't spot anything you like outside! But of coz, the one inside is more pricey! I was so lucky the one that caught my eyes and fits perfectly is the one displayed outside! ✌️

They have a wide range of frames suitable for both young and old!

My frame was $119 including normal lens, with degrees less than -400 for myopia and less than -200 for astigmatism. Anything more than that, there'll be extra charges! And I took crizal lens for my specs with additional $90.

The best part is, I can collect my spectacles in an hours' time! Am I outdated? Haha! I was pretty amused. Went to have lunch and went back to collect. The optican helped to adjust the sides to make sure that it sits nicely on the ears. Loving and enjoying the whole process!

Did something super impromptu last week and yes I finally went on a beach getaway which is kind of a dream for me because I've never really expected myself to be able to go on a beach getaway. It's not some kind of really atas beach but I'm still happy like that!

Decided on Turi Beach Resort since deanna and I chance upon this resort in groupon! It was not exactly cheap after much calculating but decided to just get it anyway. It was purely decided on impulse. So we got the vouchers at SGD$198 per pax including 3D2N stay at Turi Beach Resort, return ferry and transfer from the resort to the ferry terminal. Ferry to proceed to batam is SGD$26 per pax. Changed SGD$250 to spend and I'm like a millionaire? Muahahaha.

Shall not bore you further more.

Off to explore the island! 🌴

Back from island.

Went back to the hotel to bathe and prepare for dinner buffet at the hotel that comes with the groupon voucher.

After dinner, we proceeded to batam center for some grocery shopping because the food there is really awful.

Old school red bull! Though I'm not a fan of red bull.

Bought a dress with deanna and off back to the resort!

First night was super ridiculous. Mosquitoes everywhere. B practically didn't sleep a wink just to help me get rid of the mosquitoes. Thankful.

Recharged 10% for day 2! :O

Lucky me had lunch at Thai village on Friday with mum and sis. Many thanks to our insurance agent! :)

Homemade beancurd.

Salted chicken. (Can't remember the exact name but it's salted chicken in short! Haha!)

And it's cod fish on the top left and crab vermicelli on the bottom right! Shall give the broccoli on the bottom left a pass cause I really hate broccoli, and especially with garlic?!!?!

Went to jurong point with mum hoping I could maybe get a more proper dress for the Phillip Morris achiever's night. But ended up wasting time. So, we headed home to get ourselves prepared for the dinner! :)

Bathed, make up, change into my simple dress and off we went. Was pretty in a rush though and I totally didn't realize that I didn't have my blusher on! Thus, I really look like a ghost.. Sigh. The worse part is no one even realized until I took back my pictures that I took before the dinner started. OMG! I really don't know where to hide my face. Even saw my friends there! *faints*

How you like our purple hair? HAHAHAH! I wanted to really get my hair dyed purple but I've to bleach to achieve that color and my hair is already 少到不可以, so I gave up that idea!

It's the usual sentence. HAPPY 49th BIRTHDAY, SINGAPORE! You're where I belong. We've come so far. ❤️

Picked a more cheery outfit for my Saturdate! Headed to work for awhile first.

Saw this amazing view while on the road to work. Such a relaxing view and it really doesn't feels like I'm in Singapore! Never really take notice of such beautiful nature until yesterday when I saw this view right in front of me.

Red light calls for a wefie! 👫

(Okay, I know it's illegal to use phone while driving right? But it's me taking the wefie! So I guess I didn't break the law? HAHHA!!)

On our way home after work. It's so beautiful right? For a moment I thought I was in another country on a road trip!

Went to home and out again to get sucker fish for B at kallang. We then went to NTUC after that to stock up snacks for ndp? Haha! Pig much! And of course I can't let Ben and Jerry's ice cream pass! Bought salted caramel core and haze & confused core! Yumz!

Reached home to realize B's sis and brother-in-law having crabs! Yumz! Watched ndp and it ended at around 8.15pm? Quite disappointed that it ended so early? It's ending earlier and earlier each year. Oh gawd.

Then proceeded to orchard gateway after mod cause I want to visit miyoc! Newly open on Friday! Went to take a look. Saw a tulle skirt from a store but I can't remember the name! I love it! It's love at first sight!! Wanted to get a new piece but there's only one of each color in stock. Have to reserve and collect it the next day so I decided to give it a pass for now. Will definitely be back again to get it!! Hehe! ❤️ Went to work and then had Mac super with B cuz we didn't really have a proper dinner.

Feeling blessed to wake up next to B on a Sunday morning. Love spending my day cuddling and lazing around in bed with B. We lazed awhile today cause both of us have to get to work. B's mum cooked lunched as there's some praying today. Ate and headed out to work!

Went home and helped mum with praying too and there's soooooo much food on the table! *faints*
